A community of Ukrainian and international practitioners. The future temple will be reconstruct* on a 12 acre plot of land, currently occupied by several buildings of a former children’s summer camp. The grounds, located only one hour from Kyiv by road, are surrounded by splendid forested nature, including a running river and lake.
Ka-Nying Ling Dharma Society (KL) Malaysia was officially declared and opened by the blessing of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche & Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche on June 18th 1989. Nestled in the heart of bustling Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the center has been an oasis of peace and spiritual refuge for many students over more than 35 years.
Our center unites and supports groups of practitioners in various cities, in accordance with the principles of the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni. We draw our blessings from the Chokling Tersar lineage and other Kagyu and Nyingma lineages, represented at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, the Kagyu and Nyingma Study and Practice Abode.
What we are
The Tibetan word gomde has two parts. The first part means to meditate, to familiarize oneself with; and the second part means place. The purpose of a gomde is to provide a place for study, contemplation and meditations, a place to familiarize oneself with the recognition of the nature of mind.
For the benefit of lay practitioners, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche established a number of Dharma centers throughout the world. These retreat centers allow us the opportunity to engage in individual retreats or group practice. Introductory seminars, week-long retreats, and Vajrayana empowerments are also offered throughout the year. Our Gomde centers welcome everyone who wishes to study and practice the profound teachings of the Buddha.
