Dear friends near and far,

As the British Summer Time moves us into spring, here at Gomde we got drenched by an amazing hailstorm followed by sunshine and a double rainbow- as Lama Oser would say “Great beautiness!”

This is a very short news letter asking if anyone has a little spare time and energy to help get ready for our wonderful season ahead – many special events are being finalised and will be revealed in our next newsletter – so stay tuned! We begin the year with a 7 day Tara Triple Excellence Retreat led by Lama Tenzin from 29 April to 5 May.

Would you be interested in attending a weekend work retreat? These will be held: 2/3 April, 9/10 April, 16/17 April

We have lots of wonderful things to do – something for everyone! Could you assist with any of the following?

Building: We want to up-grade our dormitories and make spaces more comfortable.

Land work: Processing our wood fuel ready for next winter

Garden– help our local gardening volunteers make our garden beautiful and the vegetable patch productive.

Cleaning, decorating and set up: Let’s get Gomde spic and span, spring clean the caravans, get the shop installed and ready for business and the café/dining room ready to serve food and refreshments for all our hungry guests!
